Quality education provided at an affordable price is the desire of every student. But the high cost and deteriorating quality of professional education courses like Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Company Secretary (CS) etc., has plundered the precious rights of many talented individuals in achieving great feats in their career. Further, students from poor financial backgrounds, nowadays, cannot even dream of pursuing professional courses with the amount of money outlay involved in it.
The founder, Mr.Sachin Shetty, was serving guest lectures in leading CA and CS academies and commerce colleges on behalf of those academies in Bangalore. He was extremely unhappy with conduct of these academies, the way they treat students once they join their institutions, provision of substandard study material to students, lack of attention given to students, poor quality of education, not completing the syllabus on time and exorbitant fees charged etc., Upon consideration of all these factors and inspired from eight of his own students (whom he collectively referred to as “Butterflies”), he decided to set up “Prerna Academy – Inspiring Youth” initially for CA Intermediate in Bangalore in 2017.
Slowly and steadily Prerna Academy was becoming the talk of the town and started providing classes for CA Foundation, CA Final, CS Foundation, CS Final too. At Prerna we always believed that "You can take Horse to water but you can't make it drink". Those who believed in us and trusted their talent have successfully cleared CA and CS and happily pursuing their dream job at corporates and some are even practicing too.
After covid lockdown we had stopped our offline and online classes. We rest assure you that this institute will come back strongly and touch many students lives sooner or later. We believe that our Institute, Prerna, will stand strong soon behind all such needy students and show them the right path to fulfil their aspirations towards the professional course and life.
